Description Skillforce is looking for Traveling Commercial Electricians in Big Spring, TX to join our team! This is a government facility and requires a federal background check. You will start at our Temple, TX location and be transitioned to Big Spring when the job begins in a few weeks.

This job has a daily per diem of $125/day- 7 days a week for those who wish to travel in for the role! Must be within 8 hours of the jobsite.

Commercial Electrician Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service, installation, and repair electrical wiring and systems.
  • Inspect, test, and perform preventative maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits.
  • Identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of commercial electrical construction practices including threading, bending conduit, and pulling/removing wire.
  • Low and medium voltage
  • EMT 3/4-1inch
  • Cable pulling, splicing, and wall rough-in
  • Running and bending conduit
  • Completing terminations
  • This is government facility. You must pass a background check with no record and DOT drug test
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $31.00 per hour
