Position Details:
Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Technician (Journeyman-level opportunity)
Location: Wisconsin Rapids (Biron Mill in beautiful Central Wisconsin)
Shift: 1st shift Mon.-Fri. 7am - 3pm or a shift rotation depending on coverage consisting of 7am-3pm for 7-days, 2 days off, 3pm-11pm for 7-days, 2 days off, 11pm-7am for 7-days then 3 days-off, so every 4th weekend is a 3-day weekend.
Compensation: $43.35/hr. + $2/hr. for any off-shift work + typically 2-4 hours O/T work weekly on average + relocation.

Position Description: This position is part of the company Midwest flagship plant maintenance team. Maintenance Technicians primarily troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production systems and equipment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install all electrical equipment and systems in the plant to insure smooth operation, production, & safe working conditions. Key duties include:
• Troubleshooting & solving production and facility equipment problems during day-to-day operations.
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment & systems to prevent downtime/deterioration.
• Work assignments on projects for continued growth, expansion, & safety of the plant and work areas.
• Work with outside contractors to perform installation or service of equipment within the facility.
• Assisting operators to minimize downtime and complete scheduled equipment cleaning/changeovers.

Requirements: HS Diploma. Candidates must be maintenance professionals with 5+ years industrial electrical experience troubleshooting & repairing industrial systems. Strong systems-level electrical experience in typical working-leveling voltage range required, ideally up to and above 480V. Ideally good electrical & instrumentation knowledge/experience. Candidates must have excellent input/output electrical troubleshooting & be able to read schematics, blueprints, drawings for maintenance/troubleshooting/repair. You will be fixing gear boxes & wiring, motors, relays, starters, variable-frequency drives, some instrumentation, input/output controls, conveying systems, and some robotics on production line equipment and systems. Candidates must pass background, physical, and full-panel drug test prior to employment.
